Accounting Technician Position – January 2020

To enable the Town to complete ongoing accounting functions in a timely manner, the Council approved the creation of a part-time Accounting Technician position. The Accounting Technician will provide ongoing administrative and accounting support such as accounting reconciliations, processing and recording of cash receipts, billings and journal entries and assist the Town in meeting critical budget, audit and financial reporting deadlines. This newly created position will replace the current Finance Intern position. The estimated annual cost of the part-time permanent Accounting Technician position, including prorated benefits (excluding medical), is $42,500.
